Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

      if you can't properly lower your car, please do not. suspension is something you shouldnt cheap out on.

        When it comes to suspension, NEVER cheap out on things. Your suspension what holds your car to the ground. I'm not saying buy the most expensive set of coilovers you can find, but get quality materials. Make sure that your 20 year old suspension can also hold up to the stress of being low as well. I would start getting ready before you drop the car, rather than drop the car and then find out what is wrong.

            megan racing springs for a full set are about $200 shipped. but they are only a 1.75 inch drop. and koni str.t struts for a pair are $213 shipped so total its going to be about $430 for all four struts. right there is a good set up on a budget. (sorry i suck at spelling). or save up money to get better stuff.

              I bought eBay shocks 140$ shipped brand new no name... And new 2.5" drop, 60$, eBay springs.. cheap.. not the best, maybe not even good.. but ill be low-er.. and new parts never hurt. Install yourself. Not for racing just to look good, i may get her up to 70mph once or twice a month..

                Yeah... that's just idiotic.
                DO NOT buy cheap shitty suspension components. Your life is riding on these things. No $140 shocks are going to handle a 2.5" drop, especially with the insanely high spring rates those cheap springs come with.
