ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.
2 of 2 < >

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

i've had some odd setups like my 195/60r15 on my 15x7 jeep rims but soon i will have either 225/45r17 or 215/45r17 on my 17x8.5 45 offset rims. i had wanted to do the xxr 527's with 215/45r17 the 17x8.25 rims 25 offset would work but would still need to roll the rears on the wagon
      back at it again

7.5" is fine. I was barely dropped on H&R Sport springs, running a 7.5" wheel (+38 or +42, I can't remember... but a "proper" offset for our cars) and I still hit the inner fender lining at full lock.

Yeah that's what I thought too, the only thing is that if this rims keep the concave look don't matter the offset or does it change with the offset, like if its a +44 it would be flat???

yeah it depend on offset and width

The offset determines the location of the hub mounting point in relation to the center of the "barrel". I'm not sure what offset would make for a completely flat face, to be honest, or if that would change by wheel width.

Yeah its cuz I remember someone here mentioned that some wheels keep the concave even when the offset of the wheels change but I'm not sure if that's true....

well thats your point of view and i respect that but for me its not that bad, now i rather have big wheels and be a little higher from the floor than be with small rims, slammed and braking the life out of my car hitting hard on pot holes and what not, because the L.A roads suck big time

The lower offset have more concave the higher offset will be more flat looking
