ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Rust repair... plz help?

Alright guys I am getting to the end of my CB build and I am now in a bind. I have a 1992 Honda Accord Ex 2 door coupe. I have looked everywhere for quater pannels and all I can come up with is 4 doors... I need to get this done ASAP I have a baby on the way and want to make sure I have my other baby (CB7) well taken care of. So if anyone can point me in the right way I will be more then greatful! I already got a guy to paint it but I have to do the body work and this is a first for me so if you guys have any other tips or tricks I'll be more then happy to listen. I found some on Andys Auto Sport but there over priced and I havent heard good things about that site. But thank you so much for any and all help guys

Haha. I have the same problem too. Dam coupe rear quarter panels are hard to find. All the coupes in my nearby junkyards are pretty rusted out already. The previous owner of my car used bondo and it started cracking recently. So NO to bondo lol

Make your own patch panels. Since you're going to be welding a new quarter panel, welding in patch panels won't be any different.

if the damage is too great to patch, than maybe whole qtr panel replacements are the way to go. theres a site called millsupply.com that can probably get you the replacement qtr panels.

I completely understand, My 92 EX Coupe is rusted in the quarter panel on the the driver side and I was asking several people the same question.

Well, I got the same answer, use sheet metal and make one....*sigh*

Good luck man, because I am not good at that kind of body work haha

i agree...cut out and weld a patch on, and ru gonna have to use some body filler at some point, just as long as you dont put globs on.
