ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    Lip For EFsCB7

Just Got this lip on ebay $45.00 SHIPPED

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/94-95-HONDA-...a32174&vxp=mtr

Has anyone else modified a 94-95 accord lip to fit a CB7 and might have a few pointers??? I will be installing it next week when it arrives

There are some just like that made for our CBs. I just got the type R lip modified to fit our CBs and I tried it on and it was perfect. I just test fitted it and it will be on soon. You might have to cut from the sides if your going to put that on. I mean test fit it first and see where and how much you have to cut if any.

if it is too long on the sides. I would heat it up and bend them in instead of just cut. that's just me though.

I had the same lip (switched to HC1 now). There is a bunch of extra material on the inner part of the mounting surface that you will need to cut off to make it fit, I used a jigsaw, but whatever you use don't go too fast or it will melt. I put a couple screws in the middle to position it, then worked my way out making sure it was flush on the exterior then screwing it in. Then I just cut the excess off the ends.

Here's the bumper removal thread if you need that: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthre...bumper+removal

Only issue I had was that it seemed to curve upward in the middle due to how I flexed it to make it flush on the outside. This made it look lower to the ground on the sides but higher in the middle. I never heated it though, might have been the problem.

Bend it into place. Screw it down. Trim anything that's too long.

                      Lip Installed

Got my lip installed last night with my Bro jonny's help. I love this look so much. It lined up pretty good, just need to bend the edges in.

I'm so confused as to why Honda didn't put bigger lips on these cars. They look so much better!

So it just broke? or did you hit something? Mounting issue?
