ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    Question for the wagon guys

Just bought a late '91 EX automatic wagon (white/blue, 120K miles, sold new @ Concord Honda in the SF bay area in Nov '91, has been in the Sacramento valley since '93) - it's in really nice original condition with only a couple of minor issues that I want to address as I work on the general clean-up, paint detailing, etc: one broken tail light lens and an antenna mast that doesn't retract completely. Contacted a couple of dealers in the area, both of whom said that CB9 wagon tail light lenses are no longer available from Honda, neither dealer had any idea of where to get an antenna mast, either.

If anyone knows of any parts vendors that might have either part, please let me know - I haven't been on the board long enough to access the classifieds.

yeah all that weird stuff is out of production and not coming back. Anything you buy now is new-old stock and getting more scarce by the day.

get on https://www.car-part.com/ you might get lucky and find a junkyard that ships or is within driving distance of you. Get ready to scroll there are LOTS of 4 door sedans and not a lot of wagons, and of course it doesn't let you filter.

I got lucky on the tailights - Pick & Pull closest to me has TWO CB9 wagons, both with good sets of tail lights. Pulled the right corner light for my wagon, then decided that I'd probably better get the other three for spares - sooner or later I figure they'll be completely unobtainable. Got to thinking last night that maybe I'd better go back and get the other right corner light as well so I have a complete set.

No antennas, unfortunately - someone had already pulled the complete antenna from one, the other was snapped off

For what it's worth, the vehicle inventory search functions at the web sites for both Row 52 (https://row52.com/Search) and Pick&Pull (https://www.picknpull.com/) break Accord Wagons out separately - makes looking for wagon specific parts much easier......

Okay guys I'm pretty ambitious in keeping these hondas going. I worry about stuff like this too. I've been looking for a stock CB9 rear bumper cover for YEARS. There was a kind of goofy looking body kit one that I regret not buying. Not sure if it's still available but I've been getting creative with bondo hair. Maybe 3D printing technology will come to the point where we can print new ones out here soon enough.

These are OEM Honda bumpers that have been reconditioned to like new.

A 3d printed bumper would be a LOT of fillament, but yea, parts are getting much harder to find. Not sure where you are at, but you can give these guys a call. They are a Honda and Acura only salvage yard, they might have some cb9 stuff and if they don't right now they may in the future.
