ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Hittin' 92k

Just went out to the store and came back to the house. Looked down to see the mileage at 91,985. I've never done a photoshoot before and I figured it was about time to do one for my CB7. It just rained and the sunset made it a "kodak moment". However, I'm going to wait until I hit 92,000 on the head. Going to bring the digital camera with me.

Since I have never done a photoshoot before, could you guys give me some pointers on what kind of lighting/angles/weather would be real good for some shots. I'm not too skilled when it comes to using a camera. Just point and shoot is all I know. I would appreciate some advice.

    Thanks.

im not exactly u know good at pictures but id say find good angles and spectular lighting. try to make the car look as good as possible n u should be set to go. o and also if ur using a digital cam, make sure u have ample light cause if u dont then it will NOT look good and will be quite pixelated. in the weather, rain give a nice look if taken right because water refracts lights and can add some cool features in a pic. imo would be a sunset pic with the car facing the same way as the sun as it drops out of a weird colored sky. but like i said thats just my op.

You want the sun behind you when taking pictures during the day. (Keep your shadow out of the picture if it is getting late). At night use a tripod!!! If you want really dramatic night pictures use the tripod and set the shutter speed longer to let more of the surrounding light show up on your pictures. Like the pictures where taillights look like streacks or the sun is setting and you want more glow. But, mostly 1. sunlight behind you and 2. keep your shadow out of the pic.
It really is a labor of love making a neglected CB7 with "normal wear and tear" into something worth being proud of.

make sure you take lots of pics even at the same angle as sometimes they wont come out clear.
