ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    Detail products...

So i've spent nearly the whole week cleaning my car. Took most of the interior apart, vacuumed/shampooed, dusted, etc. This part's easy. The stuff I used on the exterior has really amazed me though, and as soon as I get pics up, I'll show y'all the finished product. I started with a good wash (Meguiar's 'NXT Generation Concentrated Car Wash' & sponge), then used a Mothers 'California Gold' clay bar kit, & a finish coat of Meguiars 'NXT-Gen. Tech Wax'. If you guys have never used a clay bar kit, I highly recomened it. It left all the painted surfaces, "glass"-smooth. Also, I used a trick I found here for the stainless window moldings, which was 'Mothers mag Polish'. Then comes the absolute best... anyone who owns a DX should have some of this stuff. Its called Meguiars 'Trim Detailer', and it does some wonderful things to the Black trim (which mine is almost half of). When I got my car the previous two owners had never treated the moldings (side) or bumpers, and I bought this stuff on a whim, sayin' "sure, what the hell..." Also, if you wax your car regullarly, and can't seem to get through it with out getting wax on the door moldings... don't worry the Meguiars 'Clear Plastic Cleaner/Polish' takes it right off once its dry. TypeG is going to go into convulsions when he sees the Meguiar's/Mothers mixed-up reppin' going on... lol

I thought about getting the Tech Wax for my ride but I'm not sure if waxing is even a good idea, the paint needs to be touched up bad.

        Don't worry about TypeG.
He's good, but whatever works and doesn't break the bank is cool.
Props to you, and get some pics up man.
