ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Best Muffler Type for our cb7's

    So heres the Poll

    Dual Tips
    or
    Single Tips

personally, i think the dual tip looks best... the single tip doesn't match to me because of the rear lip and the shape of the car from behind.

    what do you guys think?

it really depends on what kind of exhaust you're talking about, like the ws2 exhaust and a fart can are both single tip exhausts, but they're completley different.

im not into fart cans... its kind of ricey

this is what im looking at

its just going to be welded on at the end with transition pipe and stock resonator... just a straight thru sound with no farting

I've got an ES Tuning Black oval muffler 2.5"...I used to have a huge Magnaflow Fart can...but I kept getting pulled over for "improper exaust", so I did some research and found this one on jhpusa.com, its a universal muffler and it has a deep, throaty sound...not loud and obnoxious...and it tucks in behind the bumper just like your stock muffler, so it doesn't attract too much attention. If anyone else here lives in VB you know what I mean...the cops around here can't get you anymore on noise...so they hunt down people with the big flashy exausts. Here are some pics:

All i need now is a decent tip to bring the pipe past the bumper...otherwise the stuff that comes out of the exaust ends up on the bumper. The black on the muffler is coming off due age...time for a new one.

I like the dual tips, but I hate when one is nonfunctional!

i like the dual tips on stock bumpers just cuz, but for anything aftermarket i think single is the way to go. I voted single, but for your app. i'd go dual. i like the muffler youre looking at too. in the end its your car, your call.
