ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

i agree with what was said above: you should just get the real thing from Japan. if you do just get a front clip, first off it will be major work to get it done right, and second it wont be as structually safe or solid as an actual JDM accord. just find an importer and get one shipped.

how do you figure it wont be as safe and solid? it's held together from the factory with spot welds... a full weld on that would be more than ample enough for any stress the cb chassis could make on it.Originally posted by 91 EX-Ri agree with what was said above: you should just get the real thing from Japan. if you do just get a front clip, first off it will be major work to get it done right, and second it wont be as structually safe or solid as an actual JDM accord. just find an importer and get one shipped.

its held on by spot welds? i had no idea. i thought it would be held on by full welds from the factory. there was a similar thread like this a while back where a bunch of people said it wouldnt be as strong so im just going on what i heard. sorry about the mistake.Originally posted by mondojackalhow do you figure it wont be as safe and solid? it's held together from the factory with spot welds... a full weld on that would be more than ample enough for any stress the cb chassis could make on it.Originally posted by deevergote. And please, for the love of God, type like a human being!

why do you think they take the time to stitch weld the entire chassis of full-on drift cars? (well besides stiffening up the chassis)
chassis arent held together from the factory with a whole lot of weld, cuz the average DD doesnt need it. a spot weld is pretty strong and the forces exerted on the chassis from daily driving arent really putting alot of stress on the spotwelds, and even so the metal around the spotweld would fail before the weld did. but spotwelds CAN be broken, therefore using tack welds spaced every inch or couple inches gives you alot more rigidity and structural strength so in theory, doing a conversion would probably use full welds, or at least tack welds giving you the same effect of stitch welding. So your conversion would probably be stronger than the rest of your chassis.
