ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    Just got a spoiler

I went to the salvage yard today and found a factory spoiler for the cb7 in basically perfect condition, the only problem is I need to have it painted because it is the stock green color, and my car is grey with black bumpers (its a dx) so i dont know if I should have the color matched to the body, or the bumpers...basically do you guys think I should have it sprayed grey or black? im leaning towards black, but not sure.

Heres a pic of my car, hope it helps/works lol

nice clean cb you got there! personally I'd go with the grey body color for the spoiler, but if you matched it to the BB it'd be a little different.... your choice in the long haul....but keep it clean! (and your car would look wicked with a nice drop)

thanks for the compliments, that picture is right when i got the car...which was totally stock, ive done a few things since then but still no drop dont have the money right now, but itll happen eventually. the main reason im considering painting the spoiler black is because i want to have my whole car painted black eventually

i just took a quick look at your cardomain pics.....the led grille is kinda cool looking....i like your aesthetic mods so far.....and yeah, save the money for a decent setup for the suspension.....for the amount suspensions cost, do it right the first time.

as for painting the car black in the future, i'd paint the spoiler then, not now....colormatch and aging and all. I dont think itd cost more from maaco or wherever.

yep im definately doing the drop, sway bars, etc, but first im on the hunt for a front lip...my car doesnt have one at all...i found two at the salvage yard today but they were banged up, and i couldnt find any legends to pull one off of, so i may go with the mugen.

well as far as wheels go it depends....for the sake of cost i would like to find a set of the factory accord alloys, but if i get something else, im not sure....something kinda cheap on cost but not quality The rims i really want are volk GT-7's in black with a polished lip but those are soooo much money

chea, join the club, lol.....gt-7's are nice, specially with the polished lip. I'm hoping for some Rota Slipstreams myself, like Cpmike has on his car, or maybe some Motegi mr7s. But the 15" factory rims arent bad either compared to steelies.....anything is an upgrade from those! I think your car'd look sick with some gunmetal volks....you'd have a stealth bomber coupe!

I've got another tough choice on my spoiler before it gets painted....about 2 or 3 of the little LED's in the brake light are out so it doesn't look the best, but its not so bad either, i was thinking i could just have them paint over the brake light and not even bother wiring it up? or do you all think I should just leave it? right now im thinking its allright for a 15 year old car to look a little ghetto lol

i think you should get the wiring done it'll look more complete. I would only spray paint over it because i would be too lazy..
cb7... didn't even know my accord could sound so..so..so cool..
