Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Carpet Stain Removal

    As the title states, how would you recommend removing coffee stains from a black carpet? I just unbolted my front seats to vacuum, and I found some awful stains, mostly coffee. I would go out and try a couple different products, but I am very, very tight on cash right now. Any suggestions?

    I think that some simple green would be your best bet. spray it on, and scrub it off...

        the carpet cleaner at ur local auto shop runs u about 5.00 a can, just let soak and wipe off.

            I use a carpet cleaning machine with the hand tool extension. Also some cleaner in a spray bottle such as laundry detergent. About a tablespoons worth diluted in water, hot water.

                i took my carpet out, (trunk so it was easier) and used, bleach pen, carpet cleaner in can and some laundry detergent powder stuff. rubbed it all good with some bristles, and sucked it all up with the house steam vac. the results are amazing

                  Cool.. I am going to have to try some of these. Cant wait to start on it. 4 day weekend ahead so Ill do it then. Ill take pics of before and after.

                        Best stuff I've seen and what we use at BMW is "See Spot Go". Not sure if it's available in any stores, but it's amazing

                          We sell goof off at lowes

                          I don't know about using it for capret stain removal though....

                          I mean it contains acetone, toluene, xylene....its a paint thinner almost, but if used sparingly for spot treatment, just be careful.

                            i used it on my car and it clean my interior great.............goof make a lot of stuff u can find it at any hard are store ask the for goof off for stains

                              I also tried to clean stains but it did not work well. I might have to try to find see spot go.
