ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Prelude Sawblades

I found a set of Prelude sawblades for 160.00 on CL. Is it worth it for these? Ive seen them before for 80.00 but they sold before I could get them.

What are you gonna be replacing with these sawblades?

If you're replacing steelies/hubcaps, I'd say go for it. If you are replacing a full set of OEM alloys, I'd say save a little more cash and buy something nicer when it pops up on CL (there's something new every other day on there).

I'd offer him $130 since it doesn't come with tires.

I bought sawblades with tires locally for $60.

90ACCORDLXGUY is lucky, I will see if they are available when I get paid Friday. If I get them they will be replacing 14" steelies with 92-93 LX hubcaps. I have two sets with new tires and the LX caps. btw Milton,WA

I always try to haggle no matter what the price is. That's how you make deals. So give him an offer of like 120 and stay pretty firm, try to point out anything bad on it like, oh its so old or whatever...to justify the lower offer. Its kinda like reverse pschology. And then if he holds firm, just say okay how about we split the difference. Then you walk away with the same set of wheels for an EVEN better price. 160 isn't bad though for not TOO common wheels, if they're in pretty good shape (ie: no clearcoat peeling, curbage). Just for comparison, i sold my OEM 93 EX 6 spoke alloys for only 80 bucks w/ some broken center caps and no tires. GL on the deal man!

I would be happy to pick them up for 130/140. How much could I sell a set of 14" stocks with 92 hubcaps? I am trying to keep my Accord as cheap as possible. btw the hubcaps are two months old, I work at Honda and got them 60% off haha
