ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

i would spend a little money on a decent suspension setup Ie: coilovers or shock and spring combo, then a front strut bar and maybe a rear strut bar. after that your car will feel completely different plus it wont grab to much attention from thieves.

Internally: Most people at first get ethier a Short Ram Intake or Cold Air Intake to replace thier stock air intake. Gives you a noticable gain for a small price. Even something as small as spark plugs and spark plug wires could help. Can't run a overaverage car with cheap brand and crappy spark plug + wire combo And what most people get a bang for thier buck are the catback exhaust. Find a good one, ebay has some cheap and good ones. Just depend on what you wanna buy. You could even buy a performance muffler and take it to a welding shop and slap it on there with 2.25 or 2.5 piping, which ever fits your style

Externally: For example, I bought some ebay corners for my car.(black ones). They also have amber and white corners. But the style is up to you. Those are at a fairly small price. Next from there are the headlights and you can do just about anything you want with them. You could even DIY blackhouse them yourself, the info is on the site. Then after that, tail lights, ect....

easy, in the following order and if you engine is still good.

          1) Engine Tune up: Exhaust gaskets, spark plugs, and all that shebang.

          2) Suspension: Springs, Dampers, F&R Anti-sway bars, ball joints, bushings. Strut bars don't do as much as you would expect. Tein, Tokico, Koni, Eibach, H&R, B&G, Neuspeed, Suspension Techniqe, Intrax, are some good companies.

          3) Smaller steering wheel: 96 ITR steering wheel. With the more taught suspension, this mod will really make ur car feel smaller

          4) engine swap, your choice, H22 seems to be the norm, but I think a V6 custom swap would be cooler

          5) exhaust and intake

          6) Paint
          DEVOTE

I'd suggest plugs, wires, cold air intake, and free flowing exhaust to start. They're relatively inexpensive mods that provide a decent return for the money spent. More power, greater reliability, and better fuel economy are always a nice start.

They're not really all that noticable from the outside (unless ya got a huge loud coffee can stickin' out the back) so thieves will be less likely to bother yer ride.

After those mods ya might notice yourself driving the car in a more "spirited" fashion, which may make ya start looking at handling upgrades like better struts, lowering springs, thicker sway bars, and chassis stiffening products.

              i would do
              CAI
              exhaust
              Drop
              paint
              headers
              h23 intake

              KEEP Those wheels
plus any other mods you can do along the way like 5 speed swap..tint...ROH...stuff like that

First thing I would do is a full tune up if you haven't done that recently. Then I would go with an intake (cold air or short ram, it's up to you), a header, and a cat back exhaust. Then upgrade the suspension (lower it, add front and rear upper strut bars, and a rear swaybar if you don't have a stock one), and while your down there replace/upgrade the brakes. Then worry about looks, I would do bodywork and paint it first. And then get front and rear lips along with some sideskirts for it. While you are doing all of this you can do DIY stuff like a grill hack and blackhouse the headlights (check the DIY forum for those things). And I see that you have plans for getting rims so I don't really have to mention that. And later on you can check into an engine swap. Good luck.

My passenger side front fender had almost exactly the same ding in it when I bought my Coupe.

I'd recommend either dropping it or doing a 5-speed conversion. Either one will make it a whole new car.

5-speed....If not for the "be a man" factor, at least for the better fuel economy (extra 100 miles per tank)

LOL...What exactly is it that you want? power? apearence? handling? And how do you drive? Somewhat reckless? Race at all? Do wanna go JDM? The reason I ask these questions are because there are so many ways to go upon. If you take a look at a lot of the CB7s on this fourm, everyones' CB7 is slightly unique. I think you should look around then decide what kind of LOOK you want to go with. As for performance, stick with some basic bolt-ons and maybe some suspension.

nice clean ride man, especially the interior ;i would say first go with a complete suspension set-up, then the basic bolt ons intake/header/exhaust and a full tune-up, then once you feel comfortable with the performance of your car you can concentrate more on apperance mods(fog lights/tail lights/corner lenses/paint job), and plan ahead for more performance add-ons, but for sure also get an alarm, my viper alrm was the first thing I did to my 92 and it added like 20HP
