ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

2 channel amp for highs?

its not the ideal setup, cause you wotn be able to adjust the front crossover seperate from the rears.
basically you hook up 2 speakers to one terminal and as long as your amp can run two ohms then you can do that.
but a 4 channel amp would be idealWhat makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.
You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

Yeah, not ideal.
Each speaker can easily use 50 watts, totaling 100 rms for the front speakers and 100 rms for the rears. The price of a component amp that runs 2 channels @ 100 watts a piece is probably going to cost about the same as a amp that has 4 channels @ 45 watts a piece.
But if you do end up doing it, wire the front left/rear left speakers together and the front right/rear right speakers together. That way, at least your left/right balance will be maintained. If you wired your fronts together, then they'd be playing the left (or right, depending on how you wire it) feed only, while your rear speakers would be playing only the other feed.

It can be done as long as your amp can handle a 2ohm load. However your stereo imaging would be completely messed up. Your best bet, if you can only afford a 2 channel amp is to either bridge your F&R left channel together & your F&R right channel together. This of course would eliminate the ability to fade your sound from front to back, but your stereo imaging would still remain in tact. Another option would be to just run the amps power to the front L&R channels & power your rears with the head unit. This would allow for maximum adjustability to create your soundstage from the center of your dash. This is how it is done in competitive systems. Your rear speakers are mainly used for "rear fill" & should not be producing alot of sound. This would cause your image to move toward the back of the car. I hope this helps you.97 Accord EX Coupe
