Hellow guys. I need a unit that has GPS integrated, bluethood, Ipod conection(charge it), good quality sound and decent brand. WHat do you suggest?. I hope you guys can help. I dont really like the ones with DVD but open to ideas

pioneer avic d3 is what you need. it comes with bluetooth and the ipod cable as well (not sure on the ipod, if not its 30 bucks retail).

or a kenwood 5120, but it doesnt include the ipod or bluetooth, you have to buy those seperately, retail the ipod and bt will run about 180.

those are both double dins. i have the kenwood.

jvc810 is kick ass along with the avx44 i think the new kamielon. the single din has BT built in and can do 5.1 along with ipod video

It looks *** unless you have a custom bezel though. Get soemthing that makes it look like it came out of the factory.

ummm dude what are u talkign about i have done about 15-20 double din installs this month and it looks factory. are u sure u know what your speaking about? or could you explain yourself a little?

Go with a pioneer ... im pretty sure they have bluetooth built into their higher end models

pioneer's system expansion on some models can be flat out disappointing to me.... but thats just because i wanna control front rear and sub not have to choose between rear or sub. but they are decent units...

Go with an Alpine!!! IVA-W505 or a CDA-9887. The IVA-W505 is an awsome unit!!! But it's also expensive!!! What's your budget like??!!

pioneer's system expansion on some models can be flat out disappointing to me.... but thats just because i wanna control front rear and sub not have to choose between rear or sub. but they are decent units...

i am an installer as well and a fan of the pioneer line. the avic d3 is great but it lacks what new decks came out with. usb....usb can be used for an ipod and its the best thing ever....no more cds.

also the d3 is discontinued, so you can find them relitivly cheap if they are still around, dont pay more than 750 for one. if ur getting the pioner the avicf900 is a great unit, you dont need a map disc....has usb and bluetooth...

there is a avicf700 but it doesnt play dvds.

that kenwood you guys are talking about is pretty nice....light as a feather though....im just a pioneer guy.

yeah explain what pioneer was thinkin there. dont they have 2 new units that have screens but no dvd player? lol i dunno pioneer does have some great stuff but there are sum area's where they just cant compete. im big on jvc kenwood and eclipse...

yea the d2 and the avicf700. oh and a older model was the avic d1

everyone has their drawbacks. i mean not every single one is going to have the top end stuff, some are aimed at certain consumers...and working at circuit city i sold quite a few units that didnt play dvds and the customer (after debating) still wanted them just cause they didnt need it...and the price was a decent price for something that they needed.

but where there is a model without a feature there are the models with the feature.

im not too familiar with the jvc kenwood line for nav...so i cant comment on it...though the kenwood looked plain but it was bang for the buck. but IMO with the eclipse units the menus and stuff look kind of plain compared to the pioneers. they have awsome sound quality though...so do pioneers.

i am thinkin of 2 other new models that just came out this year. i saw them in the book. and whats the point of havent a screen with no dvd function? im not sayin the pioneer stuff is crap because its not its great. but i dont see the point in a screen with no dvd function. but yeah im not picky about menus ... aslong as the basic sound control is easy to get to ill be happy....
