ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    OEM Head Units...

I have recently acquired a '93 EX Coupe, black w/ tan interior, 5 speed, F22A6. It's lowered on Ebay coilovers, BB5 wheels, OBX short shifter, E*** intake, couple other odds & ends.

It doesn't have a radio, and the din tray underneath it is gone as well. I have been looking at 98-02 Accord head units, and also S2000 units as well. Does anyone have dimensions for these units, or what units would work well? Has anyone installed any OEM Honda cd player, single or double din?

I did a little searching, but couldn't really find anything. Any reply appreciated guys! Thanks!

98-02 uses a different plug for the radio. In my SE, I have a 4th Gen Prelude radio with the cd addon underneath. I've also used a 94 EX radio with the anti-theft, but I used the pocket out of my LX. Best bet is to get a radio from a CB7 with the pocket or something up to 97 with the CD player to fill the empty spot under the radio.

Accords are for winners. And Grandmothers. But mostly winners.

if he has the plug for the 4th gen, you can get a older radio to newer radio harness if he really wants to run a 98-02 radio. Just a matter of wiring it up. The 98-02 have some ears that will need to be shaved off. But as far as the dimensions, pretty much any standard looking honda radio will work.

What exactly is it from? Was it a factory option on the CB7 or is it from another car?

i just started my 6 disk CD radio from the 98-02 accords today...some wiring difficulty at the moment... but it turned on and asked for the code and it worked.

                          all cd's worked sounded good.

i just have a problem with getting the back light lit up and the

antenna. to power on.. those are my only problems.

well.. i might have burnt the fuse on the radio or something else.. because i sparked it while i was trying it out..

but yeah it fits like a charm and looks pretty good.
