Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Best Brand/Quality Wiring Harness and Installation Kit

    I purchased a Pioneer DEH-P2900MP stereo to replace the factory stereo in my 1992 Accord and am going to need the a wiring hit and installation kit. I was wondering where are the best places to buy these items and what are some quality brands? I'm trying to avoid Best Buy (overpriced on any accessory) and Wal-Mart (low quality). I know we are probably not talking about a whole lot of money here but it's the principle of not spending $20 on a $2 part.

    honestly, just get the walmart kit. plastic is plastic. You aren't gonna see any difference paying more for another brand. Chances are the one you pay more for will be exactly the same as the walmart one. Don't be stupid, buy it at walmart.

            Stock wiring is such small gauge as it is its not going to matter if you spend 5 dollars on one or 50.

                i've been buying wiring harnesses at best buy for about 20 bucks.

                when i just found out recently walmart has the same ones for like 6 bucks

                buy from walmart.

                    Id say if you want good wiring go find like a small stereo store and ask what would be best for wiring your system in your car

                        oh i guess i should read and not skimmed over what he said. i agree the harness is just some plastic but when it comes to wiring thats where u dont wanna cheap out

                              Metra decks are fairly universal, alot of audio shops carry them and thats what I have in my cb, I would give it a 7-8/10 fitting.
