hey just bought a jenson flip out touchscreen. My problem is that it has a fr,fl,rr,rl rca on the receiver. The diagram shows all four and the sub rca going to the amp but my amp has only two rca plugs. Would i need an adapter or just use the sub rca?

ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Are u asking this question because the sub rca only has one female end (vs the normal two female ends)? If thats the case the u can purchase a Y connector that has one male end and branches into two female ends. U can then plug the male end into the sub preout and the plug the two female ends to your rca's then to the amp.
Some decks have a singular rca for the sub preout, some have two.

what do you plan on using the amp for? subs or speakers? the fl fr rl rr that you are refering to are just ch outputs witch you would need if using a 4ch amp. since you are using a 2ch amp you willy only be using either the fl/fr or rl/rr ch. so basicly you have two options. if your using your amp for speakers you would hook up rcas from your deck fl and fr to your amp. if your using it for subs you would hook up your rl and rr to your amp. hope that made sense

Why would he do that if he has a dedicated sub preout? He also might not be able to use the subwoofer menu options if he doesn't use the sub preout.Originally posted by s.lownslow.e View Postif your using it for subs you would hook up your rl and rr to your amp. hope that made sense
That connector is like 5 bucks he should be able to get it.Originally posted by SPLCB7 View PostYou can run the rear rca's for your subs till you can get a y female to male connector I have the same deck......
