ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    rca splitters

ive had many systems over the years with two amps running off one set of rca jacks. for some reason i remember having noise/static/humming issues with my old alpine using splitters, so my last two cd players had dual outputs.

well now im putting two amps in again for my subs and door speakers, with the pioneer cd player that came with my car.
i dont care bout fading front/rear or sub crossovers in my pioneer.
is there a sure fire way to get good sound quality out of two amps off one set of rcas without buying a new deck? a special brand of splitters maybe?

a single input, dual output electronic crossover...that will allow you to have a single input, and then split the signal into high pass for highs and mids and low pass for subs...best ever solution for that problem

      thanks for responding.
i dont need an external crossover because my old school punch 500 has a built in low-pass crossover for my JL 10s and my smaller kenwood will send a nonfiltered flat signal to my 2 way infinity 6.5s.

ive used the radioshack 1 into 2 splitters a long time ago, but i thought maybe there could be a better alternative now.

no prob man..i would still recommend getting that XO...you can set the amp to a lower Hz level than the XO, and the only signal it would get would be w/e the XO would let through, so the XO on the amp wouldnt have to be used, and an electronic XO would keep that signal super clean

i seen some good XOs on ebay and i think ill git one, but can i turn the filter off on the front because my 6.5s need a full range signal?

do all external XOs only need one set of rcas coming from headunit?

          thanks again man
