ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

check the license plate..turn it up, and then get out and hold the plate against the decklid..if its stops rattling, then put some rubber strips behind there..like the kind that have adhesive on one side of them..that will stop that rattling

what you also might want to try is to tighten your trunk lid. I had nasty trunk rattle and so i looked at the hook for the trunk latch, and i just pushed it down a bit and positioned it until it would close but wasn't easy to close, that way you knwo when it's closed its nice and tight. Stopped lots of rattling. but yes also the 3rd brake lights plastic can be lightly hitting the rear window and make a nasty rattling sound. the licence plate will make lots of rattling sound as well so make sure you do what mondojackel said for that. try and attack all three problems, and i can garantee a huge improvement with this problem.

when i turn my shit on (2 10" L7s) the trunk feel like its about to bust open. i am amazed the the lock didnt break. you could sit on the trunk and your whole body will move with the bass. mine is pretty damm bad, you could ask any of the new york crew who goes to the meet. people recommended dynamat but im not sure if thats good enough, someone also told me to fiberglass the trunk, dont know about that either, but my plan for this summer is to solve the rattling sound, its more than a license plate issue.
