Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    sub + amp combo

    I'm not looking to 'shake the street' or anything, I just want some bass. I'm not looking to spend $300+ on a subwoofer...

    mtx has a better track record than bazooka subs.
    uh... if by overboosted you mean "right the fuck on" then, sure, it is.

        yeah if your just looking for the bass inside the car it should be great.
        maybe roll down your windows people hear a little bit away.

        read reviews about it.. google is your friend

          I read the reviews, but I thought I would get a second opinion from people that actually know what they are talking about. And besides, this is home to the most kickass car in the world, the accord.

            luciano, the only way to know is to listen to it (or anything) in your car with your equipment. Even if somebody had that exact box in their CB7 they wouldn't have your equipment or expectations.

            Circuit should be willing to work with you and let you try or return it if it doesn't work out.

              pioneer bazooka

              i bought a pioneer bazooka tube for the truck and I must say it does quite well, I have a 94 chevy silverado with extended cab, pretty much same area as a coupe. Its huge and I love the bass. I just wanted a little extra! I have all alpine type r in my cb7. Love it, I have it amped tho...75 watts to front and sub amped to 300. and rear is not amped. I just set my gains correctly, fade it to the back slightly and I get the surround sound I love.

                Thanks, all I want is some bass, im not overly concerned about it vibrating the floor like a dildo, it's better than no bass at all.

                  I have that mtx package but the 10" model and I paid $300 cdn last boxing day, I've been very happy with them, cant get anything better for the price

                      i've got a 12" Rockford Punch and a MTX RoadThunder amp, both 100 w rms. not overkill and great bass when you want it. cranked up bass is hardly noticed outside the car, i love it

                        fuck the bitches that stole my car jan/1/2006@7am from montesano wa updated: The Warrens from Malone Wa were found guilty for possesion of stolen property in the 1st*and were ordered to pay $2489.69 in restitution, only cause the shell was not found
