I'm looking for subs (12's) for a new setup. Don't want to use anything super popular, like to be different from the next man if possible. Last setup was Audiopipe TXXAP12's. Looking along the lines of Memphis, RE Audio($), Precision Power, Mmats, Cerwin Vega. Price range under $500 per sub

ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

go with the cadence ultradrive if you want jL quality for a explode price or if you want to blow windows out cadence beast, the beasts are about $150 a sub but with a nice mono block amp and nice wires, box, tuning and setup, that can be the best bang for your buck. these subs are incredibly accurate and loud. I got my two 10inch ultradrives for 75 shipped. I am running a 2007 model infinity reference monoblock 800w max and it is clean and loud. Comparison would be to two alpine type r 12s with well matched amp. i was recently turned on to cadence and i'm impressed and the subs do not look like a mid level sub they look like top of the line.......well probably cuz they are!vouch for:924dr, sn2bh22cb7, soysaucecb7, ecto1, PRIMESNIPER,2.2litrebeater,turbowagon94, losiracer2,jacobuchanan140, tommi, dannyd

a great amp can make an average speaker sound great ... by a good set of subs like kicker, jl, and spend the big money on the amp and head unit ... those are the real important components of a sterio system their the ones that produce the sound and amplify it ....

In Need of an engine, just a basic f22a...pm me if you have one willing to part with.

actually u got it wrong..... its the spend the money on the install(box) and the sub and then what ever for the amp. if u get a good sub it will know what to do with the power it is givin. kicker jl are geting to be over rated and over price stop bringin them up.Originally posted by kaponea great amp can make an average speaker sound great ... by a good set of subs like kicker, jl, and spend the big money on the amp and head unit ... those are the real important components of a sterio system their the ones that produce the sound and amplify it ....
