ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    Speaker Size

I have a 92 Accord LX Coupe, and I was wondering what size of speakers the front uses? I know the rear speakers are 5 1/4.

i believe they are all 6.5's around. let me double check

i was right... 6.5 in the front and back, i don't know where you got 5 1/4 from.

6.5 all around. Except the rears I think some models use 6x9's? I could be wrong cuz lx uses 6.5's all around and that's what I have.

My cb is a 93 lx and mine came with 5 1/4 in front and 6.5" in rear. As far as I know the lx's came with 5.25" in front but they can easily be upgraded to 6.5.

Lois: Oh, I haven't been on a college campus in years. Everything seems so different.
Stewie: Really? Perhaps if you laid on your back with your ankles behind your ears that would ring a few bells.

We'll the rear peakers that my 92 LX coupe has right now are 5.25. Maybe the one's in the front are also 5.25 and not 6.5.

My buddys 91 lx coupe had 6x9s in the rear but his 92 lx sedan had 6 1/2s in the rear. My 93 ex sedan has 6x9s in the back. I am trying to find some complete 6x9 rear pods cause mine are broken. I have 6 1/2 pods that I am willing to sell they just dont have the grill on them because those were broken. I know this isnt a sale thread, I just started rambling, my bad.

all 90-93 accords came with 6.5 in front- and if ur a dx or lx you also had 6.5 in the rear, ex and se's came with 6x9 in the rear. u can easly change the rear 6.5 into 6x9's by switching the housing of ur lx/dx with the ex/se. there is no difference between coupes and sedans

man...I looked on crutchfield.com and saw that it was 6.5" all the way around for my 90lx 2dr. so I go buy 4 speakers, open up the doors and go to install them and the freakin things are too damn big in diameter and depth!!!

So I have to make spacers to get the things to fit. BTW my old speakers were the STOCK one and I still have the stock casette player in there too...hahaha
