Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

    2 12inch subs problem..i don't get it ?

okay i got 2 hollywood subs in a box that i bought for $50 bucks

they sounds aiight nothing killer or nothing

so i open them up and i only see one speaker connected and im like WTF?

so i hook both up to my amp correctly and they sound like SHIT!!! literally

so i disconnect the one that was disconnected and it hits pretty good

    i don't get it ?

why is only one kicking and it sounds good

    heres' the amps

it's just 2 12''s no holes or nothing

can i change something to make them sound louder or
make sure they both are connected ? to get more power out of them?

    or what?

mono sub? poor wiring? poor quality speakers? wrong box? bad subs amp combo? Did you test them first, they could be completely blown. or one blown. or you amp if fryed. who knows.

    What kinda amp?
I cant Slam further. The ground refuses to get any lower.

how powerful is your amp? it might be trying to put the same amount of power you had going in one sub into both.

plus the sub on the left in the pic looks like the lining has started to come away. is it sealed properly?

try wiring them together then you'll be using dual ohms. this is pretty complicated so make sure you get it right:
        1. wire the positive end of one sub to the positive end of the amp
        2. wire the negative end of the OTHER sub into the negative end of the amp
        3. wire the negative end of the FIRST sub into the positive end of the SECOND sub.

you should now be runnin dual ohms and it might sound better. if it doesn't your sub is probably bad.

dual ohm... dude... that is nothing, it doesnt exist yo. dual voice coil is probably what you meant, but the wiring you described as dual ohm is just wiring the subs in series. parallel setup would be postive to positive and negative to negative. series is positive on one side negative to the positive on your next sub/voice coil (or whatever you are wiring in series) and then ground it.

sounds confusing, check out the12volt.com if u need help wiring.

Dual Ohms.....wtf, you mean 2 ohm? DVC is dual voice coils which depends on the subs you get. but you cant wire something to be 'dual ohms'.

all depends on the resistance of each channel and the resistance of the subs
