ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Sounds like either a Kappa or Kappa Perfect.

There are plenty of people running the Infinity Kappa and Kappa Perfect subs in the SQ circuit. It's an excellent, high-quality sub. Check out the review of the 12" Kappa Perfect on Car Audio & Electronics' website:

          http://www.caraudiomag.com/testrepor...fer/index.html

          Conclusion
Is this subwoofer the answer to all of your bass wants and needs due to its amazing versatility? It very well may be. It's a wonderful sounding sub with excellent detail and sound quality. It can be used in just about any type of enclosure, from a tiny sealed box to a moderately sized sealed or a vented, and even in an infinite-baffle application. All of that ability in one subwoofer? Impressive for sure. --E.H.

dude, you'd better get that!!! Infinity's are very decent speakers, I've heard their base model 12"s (about 80 new each) and they were some of the cleanest sounding best buy had to demo... not saying a heck of a lot in comparison b/c the amps won't be tuned specifically for each setup, so there's plenty room for error, but from a general listen they are clean sounding, and have a tight basket (when you press on it, the basket doesn't move as easily as other speakers, usually from a stronger magnet/better construction, a decent judge of how quick or 'tight' a sub may sound).

BUT for that thing you are talking about if it's a perfect or even near it you will need a WHOLE lot of TRUE wattage to get sound from it. I'd say no less than 5-600 RMS watts, don't get a small amp and turn it all the way up to get volume, the power won't be clean and with even less watts than the sub can take you can and will chance blowing both the sub and amp. Plus that sub is probably 1400w max, so probably 5-700rms anyways, match that and you'll get a very nice setup.

yeah it depends on which model. If it's the kappa perfect go for it, if it's the base model 12" that's like asking full retail, and if it's used I wouldn't pay that.
