ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    H22 Swap :]

Finally the time has come for my 91 LX to get the H22 Swap.

Here are some pics of the engine.

    Its sleeved.

    Has

    Crower valve springs and retainers
    Skunk2 Cam gears
    JE Pistons
    Eagle Rods
    ARP Main and Head studs
    ACT clutch.

The shop has some pics of the internals and stuff. They're emailing those Monday. And I will have those up as soon as possible. And for all those going to the May 4th Chattanooga Meet .. I will be there.

Will post pics of the car as soon as its out of the shop.

I dont know about the compression yet. Compression test is coming next week once the engine is in the old cb7.

And as for boost. Im goin to boost it once I have the money. Im saving for the guy to build a custom turbo setup.

            :]

sounds like a nice setup. Just remember that you don't need high compression pistons to run boost. Good luck and hope to see ya at the meet.

I will deff get some pics up when its done. Im really excited.

I gotta do the manual tensioner conversion but im gonna have to see how much it will cost. Kinda cuttin it close on money right now. But I have heard horror stories about the auto tensioner .. like with Nic.

But for everyone that will be at the chattanooga meet Mat 4th, you will get to see it then :] Car is ugly. Engine is badass :]

Anyone know about how much it would cost to do the auto tensioner to manual tensioner conversion and what all do I need.

Im gonna see if MVM will just go ahead and do the conversion while the engines out of the car.

Blah. Dont need that info anymore.

Nevermind that. I searched around found out what I need and prices.

I don't know if it has the manual tensioner or not. But I am gonna call Monday and find out. If not. Im gonna have it done.

Should be getting the car by Friday or Saturday :] Can't wait to actually have some power. Cant wait to see how awesome VTEC is either.

I will keep updating as soon as I get new info. I should have pics emailed to me Monday of the internals and all that good stuff. Plus pics of the actual swap. And then we're gonna do a Dyno Vid while he's doing the Dyno tuning with my Hondata S300 and my p28. :]

Getting the new pics today of the internals, and some pics of the current progress with the swap. I have to find out today if it has the manual tensioner or not. If not it will have to wait. I'm about spent out on this swap.

                          Built H22A - $3300.00
Pull the engine apart to see what its got - $140.00
                          Installation -$980.00
                          Hondata S300- $595.00
                          Dyno Tune - $150.00 ( Special Price for me :] )
                          Window Regulator fix - $119.00
                          Shift Boot/Shifter fix - $30
                          Fuel Rail - $100
Custom Exhaust setup $???? < Will find that out today.

But roughly this swap has cost me $5414.00 + whatever the exhaust setup costs.

I get the car back Friday or Saturday, and I really can't wait to see how it performs. Will keep everyone updated as soon as I find new information out.

Can't wait to make the May 4th Meet in Chatt-town. First meet + First time meeting pretty much everyone thats going except for Nic. I met him once at my work.

Will post the new pics later. :]
