Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    My 200 dollar money pit!!

    So, here's my latest purchase. Its a 1990 Honda Accord LX. I bought it from an ad on Craigslist for 200 dollars. I towed it home *due to a blown head gasket* it wasn't at my apartment complex for 24 hours when my brothers fiance's mom backed into it, broke the passenger side headlight, bent the hood, broke the grill... I was mad... anyhow, the insurance company cashed me out with 650 dollars... so, with the cost of the car, the replacement motor... I was ahead 100 dollars... Yes it has Ebay projectors, but it was a spur of the moment purchase, didn't do my research... live and learn. Anyhow, here are a few pics. I'll post more pics sometime

    paid 200.... got a 650 check... free motor... who cars if its got crappy projectors... sounds like a good deal to me... you can get you some real 1pc's later on

            I'm still working on the motor swap, assuming NOTHING else goes wrong, I hope to have it done either tomorrow or Thursday, once its running I need to lower it, finish putting the speakers in it and drive it... its got a full tank of gas... can't beat that.

                im looking for a steal like yours....i have a spare motor and a new transmission in the backyard ready to go lol.
                What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

                You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

                    FINALLY!!! the motor is in the hole... just waiting on an exhaust gasket and a front motor mount. The local Napa wants 94 bux for it... bull effin shit!! so I found a place that can get a new one for 40... survey says... I'll take door number 2 Alex... anyhow, things are comin along ok I reckon
