Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Getting my car painted!

    ***Look Down for update!***

    I finally decided to get my car painted at my local Maaco.
    I picked Honda Fiji Blue
    Dropped her off on Monday 3/21
    Here is what im going to pay:

    Value Prep and Universal Sealer: 245.00

    Presidential 2yr warranty half price: 399.95

    Uv Sunscreen and INT Clear coat: 199.95

    Surface reconditioning: Heavy Sand Bad Areas 150.00 (trunk,hood,roof)

    Fix right fender: Free

    Adhesion Promoter for Front Bumper: 25.00 (I got a replacement one)

    TOTAL:

    Paint: 844.90 crossed out and lowered to 399.95

    Body Labor: 80.00

    Sublet/ENV: 54.00 (What is this?)

    Gross sales: 1152.90 crossed out lowered to 707.95

    No tax

    Price incl tax: 707.95

    I have to say it was WELL worth the price. You get what you pay for is NOT the case here
    I think it just depends on the Maaco you go to.
    Its not the best paint job in the world but it certainly isnt the worst either.
    The color is Fiji Blue Pearl btw

            very excited for you i have the same color as your cb now except with rust so it would cost me double from what you paid to get i repainted...can't wait to see it

                I dont think fiji blue is a oem color for the cb7 but i know it is for the 2008 civic Si.

                        Went to the shop today to see how the car is doing they have sanded it and repaired all the minor dents etc.
                        He said it will be done on Monday so stay tune!
