Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    I got some CL seats!

    I went to the Pick and Pull the other day and found some decent Acura CL front seats. Picked them up for around $100 for the pair and the drivers side is electric. Since I have a 91 I had to switch the inside rail on the passengers side and fabricate a bracket for the drivers side to make the auto seat belts work right.


    At the junkyard right after pulling them.


    The bad part, the drivers side has a tear in the front of it.


    And installed. I still need to clean them and my carpet.




    This is why I changed them. It's not the worst I've ever seen but the others are still an improvement.

    Nice! They look like they belong there. Shame your SE leathers are torn up. Mine are too, but not that bad.

              Thanks. My car is actually an EX but these were in it when I bought it. The door panels are coming off a little bit and it looks like someone put the leather over stock cloth. Has anyone seen that before? The old seat wasn't that bad when I got the car in 07 but I never did anything about it so it just got worse and worse.

              Thanks. I know I was surprised to find a cl out there. It looked like it probably only had minor front end damage too.

                Awesome seats man. what are your plans to fix the troubled areas? I have 2 Integra GSR seats I jus gave away, I hope this isn't an easy fix lol

                      Tippey is referring to them not being heated like you'll find in the 3.0CL.

                            They aren't heated nor does the driver seat have the power reclining ( my favorite part is the power reclining because it gives a more fine adjustment than the large notches )

                              Ya that would be cool, but I'm happy with the seats. They are a huge improvement from what I had.

                              No I'm definitely not a girl, but it is nice to have heated seats on cold winter days. Heated seats are really not that important to me though.
