ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.
2 of 2 < >

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

1HG would mean they are US built in Ohio then.

        JHM are built in Japan.

I know CB sedans were built in the UK for the European market, but I suppose all coupes and wagons were built in the US. RHD coupes were made in the US and exported. However, with your vin saying 1HG, that should explain it all. US built.

An American built Japanese car in Europe. How weird. lol

              Today i make:

-Oil Change with Motul 300V 10W40
              -Purflux LS350 Oil Filter
              -Fuel Filter
              -Air Filter
              -Spark Wires
              -Cleaning the EACV
              -Valve Gap

Car run better, no "cliking" at all RPM, but the idle is not yet perfect.

I really must change my O² Sensor

But don't know if the CB work with an P28 ^^

I know the CB are OBD1 but i see an resistor box so i prefer ask before testing
they will work, the CB is obd1, the resistor box is for the injectors, doesnt have to do anything with the ROM

the cb will work with p28, but better with p06
p28 is vtec and you dont have vtec
                use p06

send me a message, im interested in some parts

Ok, i prefer ask because i make an EJ1 with B18C4 and the OEM B18C4 MB6 ECU is OBD1 plug but with OBD2 Ecu Board and OBD2 Engine, etc...

CB`s were not built in the UK for the european marked, they were built in japan.
The CC7 (1994--) were built in the UK working together with Rover

Lol, hell no. We ain't no different, we got a whole bunch of rusty ass buckets here on this site lol.
But the difference is the focus of the effort is first on restoration (achieving OEM condition and reliability) prior to to Mods, go fast, after market show off and bragg items.

Sure it wasn't perfect (the owner is inheriting an old car not of their own doing and it is 20 yrs old), but the owner had the presence of mind to buy another car to restore the target car to OEM standard and hold off the mods, bragg items till later.

Europeans tend to pour more effort first and foremost in getting it back to where it once was (restoration - paint, body panels, dents, achieve reliability) then move to other areas once the car has been restored near factory shape. Even then their mods tend to be conservative and not outlandish mods (leading to being over done, try hard look or just outright no direction in appearance.

In my opinion it's rare to see a European car that has lots of mods but remain unrestored (needing paint, sporting dents, mismatched panels, wheels, bald tyres, missing hubcaps or centre caps etc). They usually work the other way (as it should be in my opnion).

We fit EDM corners on our cars, so some Depo amber 92-93 corner lights will fit yours correctly.

The coupe looks beautiful. So shiny!
