ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    AuCaMa95's cb7

Hey guys, I'm new to the site so I thought I'd introduce myself. I'm Austin Manning and I'm starting my freshman year in college. Due to this I'm pretty broke. I have pretty much no work to my car, but am here to learn and after I get some money, hope to do some good work. Any suggestions for some work to do would be greatly appreciated!

    Welcome!

good start, its like a fresh piece of paper.

you requested some suggestions well I suggest some aftermarket rims/tires.
It depends on what kind of build you want. For example I prefer the "modern stock look' but others prefer the tuner look. so unno my suggestion is rims/tires.

I was actually thinking about not worrying so much about looks rather than minor performance. When I had some sort of money I would like to turn it into a decent sleeper. Maybe some lo-pro racing rims and a new paint job but that would probably be the most appearance work I would do. Thanks for the opinion!

That was a little bit of an older picture. There is now a small dent on the tip of the hood that actually bent the hood up because the corner pressed down onto the headlight. My friends mom backed into it. I was pissed. Other than that, there isn't much damage except for almost a complete lack of clear coat and paint coming off. I lived 5 minutes from the beach before I came to college so the sandy beach air didn't have a great effect on my baby. I am studying mechanical engineering. Hopefully I can get a good job around cars to turn my love for them into a career. Our school has an SAE program that I hope to get into. They have a baja buggy and a formula car. Which one will I choose? Sorry dirt, but I'm a little biased towards the pavement so formula will be the way to go for me.
