ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Now that's more like it.

Hello all. Newbie to the forums here.

After too much time wasted working on my 97 Nissan Altima, I sold it and bought myself my second CB7.
    Life is good.

Interior was perfect. Exterior has some minor scratches and one small dent, which is as good as it gets for Alaska.
Exhaust was rusted and had a few leaks but I'm replacing it with an eBay cat-back.
And best part, was under the hood:

I've thoroughly inspected the car by now and every bit of preventative maintenance that can be done, has been done. All gaskets are new, new starter, new belts... Not a single issue.

    I seriously couldn't be happier.
So I am going to take my time with this car. It won't be a patched up wannabe racecar like my Altima.

Looking forward to building this thing... And loving all of the inspiration I've gotten so far from browsing these forums.

Thinking about plasti-dipping the car when summer comes back around. Flat black or bright Ferrari red?

    RIP my last two CB7s.

Well welcome BACK to the CB7 world I believe is the appropriate greeting (unless you still have your first CB and have not sold it).

Can't believe there is no repairs needed?!

Well now that you have attended to all the maintenance issues as well, then I suggest you focus on bringing it back to OEM standards before going to mods, such as:

          OEM rims
          passenger side mirror
Paint touch up and colour code the front, rear bumpers, mirrors and door ext handles
          Rear mud flaps

Its a dx I think. They came with blk bumpers, and blk door handles. I would leave it be. I would get a passenger side mirror tho. Looks funky without it.

Yeah I was amazed with the condition. Truthfully I do need a window washer pump and better brakes... But I'll probably drop some money on other goodies before I fix that.

As far as the color goes, I do really like it... But it's a DX so I have plastic bumper covers and I'd be happy with the whole car being matte black to match the cheap ass covers and handles... Plus the plasti-dip will protect the red underneath.

As far as other plans: I want some blackhoused headlights, yellow HIDs, 20% tint, rear mud flaps, alloy rims, front and back bumper lips, red or black header wrap, and red LEDs everywhere I haven't put them so far.

I will most likely do a new clutch as this one feels like it won't last forever.
And when I get a new daily driver, I'll be doing my first ever turbo setup on this.

              RIP my last two CB7s.

Oh, and a roof rack with some HID projectors on it. Can't forget about that.
