ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Looking good so far, Kudos on the homegrown balance shaft delete (I printed it out lol for next time), did the machine shop knock down the valve guides for you? I left mine alone but smoothed everything else out. coming along great man.

That is a PRB intake manifold from an early RSX Type S.

I dropped the head off at the machine shop for a nice deck job, and a 5 angle valve job. I do my own port work, etc.

Hopefully they will be able to find approx 0.060" of material to machine off the head, raising my compression from 8.8:1 to approx 10:1.

And thank you for the kudos on the BS delete. If I was in the states and could order from McMaster Carr, I would have just ordered up some solid dowels and been done with it! Haha.

Few more pics to share why not.

IM with a return style fuel rail all setup to run OBD1.

You can see a full set of Injector-nation IN800's from HiProfile loaded up in the IM as well.

And my main motivation for going this route on the IM, not only for power and to be a BA, but so I would have 2.2L or more that I could actually fit into my 1990 Civic's engine bay. Haha. Without cutting the hood, "JDM hood tilting" or anything retarded shit like that.

And yeah thats a B series TB on a K series IM. Once again, direct bolt on. Honda is pretty rad for that stuff.

I guess I could quit being lazy and read about it on DSO, but what cam are you using? Gonna imagine that intake aint gonna be best with a stock cam lol

You building a header, or using off the shelf?

I got an ebay 4-2-1 going in at first. We will see how far it takes me. The design has surprised me in the past!

The cam is a Colt cam stage 2 tri-flow. It's with Geoff right now getting ground.

I've been looking at possibly doing a K-series IM.
What (if any) mods will need to be done with the throttle cable to make this work?

IDK how the throttle cable on the Accord works, I've actually never owned an Accord before. But it shouldn't need anything special to make it work.

The cable will go under the IM, a custom bracket would be made to secure the cable (like the oem throttle cable mount off the IM) and then it will go to the TB butterfly.

I know on my chassis of choice, theres two different throttle cables. One for the D15B2 and one for the D16A6, so I have options for lenghts. I can also use a DA throttle cable easily if needed for more options.

But I think my stock D15B2 cable will work just fine.

How does that mani perform vs. h23 plenum/tb w/ double iab on f22a runners? Im old school also and haven't dipped my toes into much of the newer Honda stuff.
