ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

i was thinking about custom fabricating a trans mount. How do i get the transmission in the exact spot where it needs to be so i can make my mount?
it appears youre converting to 5spd? if remove the solenoid/lines plus the plunger that its connected to (make room for the shifter cables) you can reuse the auto mount and rear bracket on the engine...

and for the tranny mount, a look through the Popular Thread Index at the top of the Swaps forum would help... theres a few options.

Theres these 2 studs on the bottom of the IM on the drivers side that looks like something should go there.....

          So what should i do?

Find a 92-93 Accord EX, it has IAB's aswell
            Junkyard

Or if you want to go ghetto, while you wait for an IAB you can just connect the two vaccum lines together and your car will run almost the same

so your saying h22a IAB's are the same as f22a6 IAB's?

The IAB plate is the same for F22a6, h22 and h23. Is is the metal unit that contains the 4 butterflies and 4 open holes. The motor you have should have come with an IAB plate. It is sandwhiched in the intake manifold. The bottom of the manifold should have a black vacuum box with a solenoid screwed in place with vacuum lines coming out of it. This is what engages the butterflies.

Here check it out. The black box goes under the manifold as seen here #12

the guy sold it to me for cheap because the torque converter slips. He ask 850 i said it would take 200 to fix it but i was just talking out my ass. I bought it with the full intention of an h swap so i didnt care. goodbye f22a1 hello VTEC freedom
