I thought by getting on a Japanese car forum I might escape some douche-baggery I have seen so common on the cavalier forum.

The support of a COMPLETE UNCENSORED FORUM is a wealth of knowledge and resources, not to mention comradeship.

I understand all the idiots online, but really what it comes down to is that censorship in any form in is ignorance.

You can still get the knowledge and resources without having 30 posts. The only thing you're missing out on is in the classified and regional sections.

When you ask a question here and actually get an answer, rather than "search noob!" (because people get banned for saying that in this section) you'll understand.

When you know something about these cars and have to answer the same question for the 500th time, you'll understand.

When you buy something from the Classifieds section and don't lose your money to some guy with 2 posts and a part for sale at an insanely low price, you'll understand.






This forum has been around for a long time now. We have had issues with scamming. We have had issues with the flaming of new tuners. We have had issues with people not learning because nobody took the time to explain anything to them (and once they whore their way to 1000 posts, other members begin to believe they know what they're talking about.) There is nothing that you can't ask in the Beginner Forums that you could ask elsewhere. No matter how stupid the question is, you WILL get an answer in this section.


This is not censorship. This is organization. This is protection of the members here.

If you can't see that, and you feel the need to criticize the way things are run, then perhaps you don't belong here.

By enforcing the 30 post rules, we get rid of a lot of the "douche-baggery".

Everyone on here has delt with the rule and has looked past it for common sense reasons.

If you don't like it, get over it... or leave.
