ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

If your car is worthless and you have no money to fix or any credit to get a new car what should you do??

How much trouble should one go through to fix a car that just can't take it anymore?

I have a turbo charged 93 laser blue Accord it has 20,000 miles on it and is in very good condition. Manual transmission and dual exhast system. i bought it from a good friend of my boyfriend's.

He is buying a new bike getting an upgrade, he has two cars a one is a Honda accord that he just needs to get rid of it has done it's purpose and he should get the next car he wants which is a Nissan 350Z the sporty one.

His other car is a an old vintage supra. That one is a true classic he should definatly keep that one a remodel that one..

    any suggestions???

what do you do with your cars??? how long do you keep them and repair worn out cars.

ive had mine for about 3 years now. i gave up on it when it started having electrical issues. all of which were in the dash. i wasnt going to spend the next 4 months trying to track down a small short. so i got another cb

my dad always said a mature person wouldnt get a 18 year old car. they would get one with a warrantee and in good condition. it all depends on the owner. if you look at a 18+ year old car and see what it could be than for what it is then have at it. but if you look at an 18+ year old car and see nothing but problems then get something newer.

if you dont have the money to fix it or the credit to get a new one, then start working. work your tail off. bad credit is no excuse. thats why you get a job and work on your credit a little at a time. as long as the credit agencies see you making even the smallest payment on bills, you'll have good credit.

For a 18 year old car a cb7 runs great compared to most other cars of the same age just look how many of us on here drive 18yr old cars. A cb7 is a reliable and fairly easy to fix car compared to most and there is tons of fun to be had in one. When in doubt always pick honda best bang for your buck. I personally will run my cb7 till its dead because i love the car to death but depending on your needs if you need a newer car by all means go for it. As mentioned work your tail of and as you pay your bills the credit card companies will flock to you. Its like a elevator you keep going up till you reach your desired level lol bad analogy but good luck man.

i've made a lot of sacrafices for my Honda, financial wise. Right now the transmission is the only thing holding me back.

while on the subject of credit, anyone get one of those "pre-approved" credit card offers, fill it out and mail it in. Then later find out that you were rejected?
