ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Lincoln Tech

Ok, so im in 12th grade this year and ive been trying to figure out what i want to do when i graduate from High School. Well this lincoln tech represenative came to my school 2 weeks ago and gave a presentation on the school. So i set up a meeting with the rep, he came to my house and we started thinking about reason why i may go to tech school.

Have you or do you know someone who when to this school and if so did they like it?

sorry i dont know anyone that went there.. but 3 of my buddies are going to a tech school called wyotech i dont know if youve ever heard of them. but its a great trade school.. there there for desiel mechanics and automotive repair. i would check them out cause ive only heard good stuff about the school
You don't have to like what he did, but I would hope that you can appreciate the time, money and love that went in to the build. If you can't, you're not really an enthusiast, just another dumb kid with a car.-visualpoet
Money and Knowledge are never in the same sentence, because people with Money think they know it all, but people with knowledge, know better.-ragingasian

i know plenty of people who went there including 2 of my friends now, its good youll learn the basics and youll leave there with a chance to get a real job doing what you like i have friends that know alot of stuff but never went to school for the certification so as much as they know they'll never get a job at a good place i say go for it good luck

community college is better because it isnt based around the amount you can afford but how much are yu willing to learn and strive for.

around here, shops would rather higher a De Anza Auto Tech graduate rather than a Wyotech or UTI.

You honestly learn more working out in the field than you do at LTi.
LTi does teach the basics on how stuff works, but theres nothing like hands-on.

You also wont get credited college credits.
So later on down the road if you want to go to college you're going to start at the bottom.

Having a degree from LTi does help you somewhat get into a big name dealership, but you can still get in without one.

If i were to do it again i would have gone to college and enrolled in an Automotive program.
          Best of both worlds.
