ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Noob here

Hey, I'm a noob... err sorta. I've been around the honda scene for quite a while (same SN on D-Series.org) and have now decided to put my H23 build into a CB7 since I lost my job and don't find it economical to swap into a Civic/CRX anymore. Anyway I have an H23 I'm building w/ the following mods and will be swapping it into a CB7 (prob 4 door) once I find a BS part time job to buy the car. With that said, I don't have a car but here's the build list and pics of the parts so ya'll know I'm not some noob talking about what I'd "like" to do rather than actually doing it.

    Build: H23A1

    P&P head
    Crower Stage 3 Cams
    AEM Adj. Cam gears
Crower Valvetrain (unless I find a cheaper option for H23's)
    H22 Type S pistons
H23 rods shotpeened and deburred w/ ARP rod bolts
    ARP headstuds
Socketed and Chipped P72 running Crome-Pro
Cometic custom thickness HG to compensate for the pistons sticking out .016
    I/H/E,
blah, blah, blah, pretty sure that's it.

Now onto the pics of what I have lying around thus far.

And maybe a little of this if I get bored.

And if I get bored later I might make these do some work but I doubt that'll be necessary for my goals.

    Nice!

It'll be quite a bit faster in a civic/rex but cb7s are awesome cars. It should still be a blast. (I'm sure you know all of this)

Ya, based up my earlier calculations and what I saw on PirateMcFred's H23 build on H-T, I figure this build should be good for approx 205-210 whp and roughly 180-185 ft lbs of torque on a good tune. I could probably run race fuel and advance the timing a bit more to reach 220ish but I figure why risk it, esp when my CR will already be close to 13:1. At any rate, this engine coupled with a nice suspension set-up should be a fun DD to keep me interested while I start another project, not to mention embarrasing the occasional ricer.
