ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Bad donkey

Sorry .. I was just reading stuff about different honda motors, and I saw the
    J37A4 from an 09 tsx
    # Displacement: 3,664 cc (223.6 cu in)
    # Bore and stroke: 90 mm (3.5 in) x 96.0 mm (3.8 in)
    # Compression: 11.2:1
    # Power; torque: 305 hp (227 kW) @ 6300 rpm; 273 ft·lbf (370 N·m) @ 5000 rpm
    # Valvetrain: 24v SOHC VTEC (intake and exhaust)
    # Fuel control: Multi-point fuel injection; PGM-FI

I bet with some solid medium street cams, some bolt ons and some tuning, if that could fit into a cb7, it would rock.. ok. I shut up now.
1989 cressida: Polycog diesel ultracharged, high tension muffler bearings, Manestically spaced pivot bearings, High definition halogen fluid, Flourescently scored bio-fuel seperator, flux capacitor and a Sega Genesis hooked up to a 9" b/w tv via cable to antenna converter.

        According to Acura:
        Engine type Aluminum-alloy in-line 4-cylinder
        Displacement (liters) 2.4
        Horsepower @ rpm (SAE net) 201 @ 7000
        Torque (lbs-ft @ rpm) MT 172 @ 4300
        AT 170 @ 4300

The TL SH-AWD has the J37A4.

            Yeah, it's the TL motor.

And people have been drooling over the thought of a J swap for quite some time now... nobody has completed it yet. There are supposedly some projects underway.

And yes... it would indeed rock. It would also fit... it would just take a LOT of custom work to get it working right.
