ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Blown out by a civic

    Gentlemen (Ladies if your here)

I thought I'd share a funny event that happened to me today. So here I was running down Rt.13 in PA on my home frome work. I see a maybe 94-96 civic coupe at the light. I figured he was running a v-tec (said it on the of the car) so what do I do, (keep in mind I'm running sort of stock only thing I've done was add a short ram and an exhaust) I rev my engine next to him he looks at me like "Man please".

The light changed and we took off. For about a mile stretch his knose was at my front passenger door. I'm at like 80mph at this point. It sounded like he had 20 gears he just kept shifting.

All of a sudden this guy pulls up so we are even he looks gives me a smirk then it looked like his car dropped and next thing I know he was about 1/4 mile in front of me.

I knew I had not chance just figured I'd give us both a laugh.

All I know is in order for me to be the type of driver I am I need power behind my vehicle. Put it this way I hate sitting next to a car that looks like it'll put a good fight but I can't do nothing about it. You realize I've seen a cb beat a porshe 911 in a 1/4 mile. Can't wait till I can close to that.

maybe you need more stickers! But for real, street racing is an adrenaline rush. I tried to play with a pontiac GTO and got put to shame, but it was cool seeing how much faster that car was.

Yes, sir certainly a rush. It was cool to see and it certainly let me know I need to some major work in the my CB. It's my DD so I really just want an edge on the commuter traffic. Traveling on I-95 everyday to and from work I have to deal idiots who can't drive and I'd like to the power to go around, avoid, and if necessary leave'em in my dust. I've seen a few ppl reading, falling asleep, doing make-up, and even painting nails while driving. Those are the one I want far away from.
