ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    New Member, First post

Hi all, newb here. I got tired of my buddy talking about how cool his 6th gen si coupe was so I set out to find an Accord community and not only did I find one, but I found one for my specific generation of car! I had no idea it had such a following.

I'm a bit of a car person. I watch my weekly dose of Top Gear and, honestly anything that is "fast" is fine by me. Be it Planes, computers, cars you name it. Anyways I bought my '90 LX sedan about a year or so ago for $500 from my cousin. The owner before her had taken great care of it. I have the car's entire history and the thing still gets great mpg. if it wasn't for her the speakers wouldn't be blown the the radio would work too.

The only thing that has me bummed is that when I get on the freeway I have to floor it to get up to speed and not be eaten alive by explorers and the like. But I understand I can drop an H22A in it and supposedly with a little tinkering cream my buddies' si. I think I have found heaven.

Well this technically isn't your first post, posting in off topic doesn't add post count. Yes you can swap in an H22 and weather you beat the Si I have no idea, depends on the driver and your setup. Don't feel bad about getting beat, I've been beat by a DA (three people in the car and 230k on my A6). As HybridKyle said, read read and read. The search tool is your friend, once you get to 30 post you can start posting in the "groen up sections" Anyways best of luck and post some pics up of your CB.

Thanks guys. It's nice to be amongst like minded individuals

It's dark where I am (Kentucky). So I will post pics tomorrow when I get a chance. Its a red sedan.

I have been looking over the forums and the different stickies and it has got me very excited. The stuff this little car is capable of is amazing. I was considering buying an evo when I graduated college, in another 3 years, but I think that doing this will be more rewarding and fun than buying a prepackaged rally car.

I'm going to refrain from asking any technical questions for now as I am sure they have already been answered.

Yes they prob have, but it's ok to post after you have search for a while and found nothing.

Welcome. When you get a chance you should read over the DIY threads. There's more than a few things in there that you can do to your cb for cheap that'll make a big difference.

Well this morning my dad decided to to take my car to work. It's the cost of having a car that gets 30mpg over one with 15 I suppose. Anyways he probably wont be back until dark, again so I may not get pics today. I'm not trying to pull a fast one on you guys. I just have a really strange schedule this summer.

I get up and go down to the Uni at around 6:30 am to work out. then at 10 am I have a class. I get back home around 2pm or so and by that point my car was used to take someone somewhere and I don't see it all day.

OK guys I was able to get some pictures of it. me and a buddy went down to where my dad works and found it in the parking lot around lunch time.

The Porsche turbo badge is a bit of an inside joke. Walmart sells them for $3 and my friends thought it would be a good idea if they started sticking different performance badges on my car.

Anyways, there is a dent on the hood that you can clearly see in the first pic. Apparently one of my cousin's friends thought that the hood would make a good chair and her fat *** left it's mark.
