the ones on the bumper are diffusers and those are for the air could go threw. if you check your bumper air gets caught inside slowing down your speed with holes on your bumper the air can get out n with the other types of diffusers (the one on the integra) that stops the air from going into the bumper.

ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Why do you want diffusers?
Absolutely NO purpose on a car that doesnt see the track. Oh, and even if you "track" your car, you don't have the fine level of aero tuning necessary to warrant the use of a rear diffuser. I don't even want to get started on this. It's pointless.
*edit*
Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to be a jerk. I just feel that diffusers cross the line of something that you might do just for looks (i.e. a front lip, lowering the car, adding some sideskirts or something, even adding a subtle OEM-style wing). Diffusers are just a pure race piece, and they look silly on non track-prepped cars, and especially on FWD passenger cars that have no racing history at all.Last edited by mondojackal; 12-22-2009, 10:01 PM.

I can see where you are coming from but this is not the point. He is just pointing out that the Accord is more of a grocery getter car than a weekend racer. Sure, cars like Ronald_TypeR's obviously look like they belong nowhere other than a track but that isn't the point and I wouldn't base an argument on it.Originally posted by ric3rboi23 View Postbut they would be fine on a rwd car right?
The CB isn't a race car, simple as that. This is the main reason Gary stopped racing his CB in autocross. Sure, with great driving skill you can place well, but the other cars with the REAL racing history and rep are always going to be on top. You can do endless modifications to make a CB race ready, but the base design of other cars such as the Integra and Civic (shorter wheel base, lighter, good HP to weight ratio, good turning radius, better handling potential, etc.) will always be superior.
So a rear diffuser would be unnecessary on a daily driven/non dedicated track car CB. Point made.

true story, with good driving i can get close to the civics but they always have the upper hand advantage,Originally posted by CB7 Sleeper View PostI can see where you are coming from but this is not the point. yeah that's true might as well jus put a rear fog light. But how about the diffusers from a s2k ? Like the bottom one under the bumper.
