ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.
2 of 2 < >

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Yeah... we have a thing on this forum where we prefer to have real, helpful information spread around... not made up stuff passed from one ignorant noob to another... because nothing is learned that way.

If that's not the way you do things, then perhaps this isn't the community for you.

And to be quite honest... all I did was ask you for a Honda part number for the 5th "cold start injector" that you mentioned. I don't see that as slapping anyone around. If you were right, I'd have learned something new, and you'd have provided a valuable additon to this database with that part number. However, you backed off right away, because you KNEW your answer was complete bullshit. Yeah, we don't need that on this forum.

This section is the strictest. We have no need for idiots, people that can't follow rules, or people that can't respect others (or the rules of this community). Yes, if you type like a moron, give bad information, or get smart with a moderator (or any respected member... or any member in general, actually) then you will be given a hard time.

There is very little drama outside of this section. Not really because the moderators aren't as strict... but because they don't need to be. The people that make it out of this section understand how to respect this community, its rules, and its members.

To be honest, it works quite well. It may not be for everyone... but hey, that's the way the world works!

The "tough rules" are actually just common sense written out.

What exact rule(s) are you having issues with?

If you truly want to learn some very valuable advice and know how, I say stick around. If your unsure in giving knowledge, don't. You can read and research all kinds of useful information on this site.I admit, the mods at times seem harsh but its for our own good and the good of the forum overall. Don't be discouraged. Be old school....listen first, talk later. Just my two scents and what Im doing my best to do.Im here to learn because of the love I have for my car.

Unless he's looking around at my current bashing of some random idiots... or bitching about a post or two of his that got deleted because he had nothing useful to say... he's most likely bitching about me asking him to provide a Honda part number for a fictional part that he suggested a member replace to help his car start... When I called him on it, he suggested another part... also fictional. I asked for a number again. He didn't like that, I guess.
