ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.
2 of 2 < >

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    97-00 accord trans

    will a a/t from a 97-00 accord fit my cb7?

    #2
Do you bother searching for these things at all, or do you just make a new thread in the off topic section every time you get a new idea in your head?
Yes, it will fit. (though the year range that you're asking about covers 2 generations...)

Yes, avoid ALL Honda automatic transmissions in the 1998-2002 range. Honda had a lot of issues with them back then. I have a 2000 Odyssey with 213,000 miles on the original trans, but I am of the few lucky ones.

ok. to help you, look around before you post. most likely EVERY question you have has already been answered here on this site. you just have to look. when you search, put the option as "thread title" instead of just the post. that'll rule out any threads that have nothing to do with what your looking for

Every thread in the beginner section? That would take weeks. There are over 25,000 threads in the beginner technical section alone (of course, you posted your technical questions, one after another, in the off topic section... i assume because you're lazy...)

The transmissions on the 4 cylinder 6th generation Accords weren't that bad... the V6 models were the ones that had the major problems.
All transmissions mounted to any FWD F or H series engine (that means transmissions found in the Accord, Prelude, 2.3 CL, and possibly the 1st generation Odyssey will fit.) Avoid anything with ATTS, as they won't fit without considerable modification.

I don't know what "quick opportunity" you're talking about, but I don't see how it could be so urgent if you didn't even know what generation Accord the transmission comes from.

You may not exactly be whoring, but you are being annoying. What you are doing... posting many simple questions one after another (in the wrong section, at that)... that's pretty much like walking into a dollar store and asking the cashier how much each item is... individually.

Take your time to read, research, and at least show that you TRIED to figure something out on your own before bombarding the rest of us with questions. Then, we will be happy to help you. Otherwise, you'll just show people that you're lazy and needy, and you won't have a very good experience on this site. Trust me.
