Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    window tint

    how much u guys paid for ur 4doors window tint?? shops are quoting me $170 for all four door and back windshield... i feel like its too much..
    I need suggestions guys??

        Go on eBay buy the precut tint do all your side ones yourself and pay some to do the back window, it's a reall bitch to do it and you can save a good chunck of change that way.

          Is $170.00 too much for your budget or too much for the job they would do? I suggest you decide on the level of quality you want in both the materials and labor. All window film is not the same and the level of workmanship on the installation will vary from shop to shop.

          Some questions to ask when getting quotes:
          Length of time in business?
          Warranty?
          References?

            I paid about $150 for 15% all around. Most reputable shop in town and it came with a life time no fault warranty.

            I'd stay away from the cheap tint on Ebay. Most of them will turn purple with time.

              I bought a roll of the highest quality tint I could find ($20) and did the side windows myself
              then I went to a shop for the rear window they charged $100 cheapest shop I could find too. so all together $120.

                I paid $ 125 and got life time warranty with it. Came out really nice, but its on my stratus though
