strut bar???

ok im so confuse on the all different strut bars(front upper and lower,,,rear upper and lower) can anyone tell me where the they go and why the upper and lower and sway bars

Front upper and rear upper go Across the top of the strut towers

There are no lower strut bars. The rear tie bar on our cars does nothing but look pretty. Sway bars are more involved... That might be better to google.

I might like to add that the strut bars in the phots are Triangulated Strut bars, which not only attach to the strut towers, but to the firewall or the floor, for extra rigidity.
