Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Anyone interested in a comprehensive roof rack thread?

    I searched but didn't find one. I know quite a bit about roof racks, both Yakima and Thule.
    If someone's interested, vote and I'll write it

    Edit: I'm not part of Yakima, I just chose that as my SN.

    what is there to know? its a roof rack. those are the brands most people get. installation is pretty straightforward. ive never even seen anyone ask how to install a roof rack before. if thats your thing though since you obviously like roof racks then make the thread.

      Sure..unlike some...some people might not know how they are installed CORRECTLY. I'm pretty sure that is the basic idea this site was made...to learn from others and not get bashed for asking; helpful experience from members who have been there and want to pass it on.
      Also what about Honda OEM roof racks and the compatibility from other donors such as the Honda Oddessy?

          If u had just made the thread without asking about it I would have thought nothing of it. But the fact that u are polling this and whatnot, u must be bullshittin. I mean really, how comprehesive can the roof rack get?

                  I don't understand you guys...guy wants to help, regardless of how insignificant you thing the topic is.Why must you bust his balls just because he hasn't logged on in 2 weeks. Not everyone sits at their computer. He might have had something that took him away for 2 weeks. I own two Hondas and try to learn from this site or like I did for the guy who overturned his CB. I offered my car.
                  Instead of discouraging and posting how his help is ridiculous in your opinion..offer helpful suggestions. I'm sure the Mods here are grown up enough to see the this on this site instead of joining in.
