ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Yes, I have seen some of there engines in local cars .CA company that can be very pricey .If you follow any SCCA racing chances are you have seen there work in action . Parts are quality and hold up to applications.

A man that keeps looking back can't see whats in front of him.

        There = a place.
Sorry, that just drives me nuts. THEIR is the word you're looking for.

Anyway, Comptech products used to be available through Honda dealerships. When I was shopping for a CL-S, I found lots of Honda-approved parts from Comptech, such as headers, exhaust, etc...

Their parts are extremely pricey, but very well made. I heard they were going under, though... so if they're still in business, they may have been bought by another company. I would do some searching on the company's history before you spend big bucks, just to be sure they're still as high quality as they used to be.

They went bankrupt, reorganized and are now known a CT Engineering.

Still making some stuff, but mostly for the newer K series powered cars.

Definitely high quality, OEM grade stuff, but pricey as well. As has been mentioned, they have been involved in racing for years, and their supercharger kits for TSX's and Si's are popular.

Wow, 50 bucks? Used, I assume? Make sure that it's genuine... because that's a steal of a price for anything Comptech!
I'm fairly sure they never made CB-specific parts, though. Not 100% sure, but I've never seen nor heard of any Comptech parts for the CB. Perhaps the H22/Prelude.

Looks good! Was it a full catback? And did it fit without modification?

its was an axle back and yes it took some modification we had to cut the flange off and welded it to the existing pipe and had to cut the old hangers off and mount new ones but it was 50 dollars for the exhaust and 35 for installation...
