Why go cheap? Its expensive for a reason. With electronics more research is involved and YES cops can pull you over regardless if they got a radar or not. You are breaking the law in front of a cop. If its Highway Patrol dont contest it... its almost pointless. City cops...I would. But the V1 is from what I hear the best out there. Mags says so and the Escort is next. Thats one of my next purchases too. Especially when Im done installing my project secrets

I have two Cobra 9110's; one in the front and one in the back. I use this set-up because even though they have a 360º radius, it's more of an oval/egg shape and picks up more in the front than in the back. With the two, I can tell whether the enemy is in front or behind me and I can react better to the situation (think up the correct excuse.) lol

i would of saved the money and bought a valentine. it tells you where they are coming from and it is perfect mounted just under the rear view mirror

went to walmart and bought a cobra esd 700 for like 40 bucks. that thing is pathetic. if you have a cobra please upgrade...soon

i have had no problem for all u people say cobra sucks just get a good one a 12 band 16 band i payed 120 for my cobra and it has goin me out of a bunch of tickets i,
i was racing some acura and then that shit started beeping i was ging about 110 aprox and he stoped him and not me casue isaw that he did not have one and i stoped in time down to 70 and he never pulled me over i was lucky but this has happend several times so cobra is good for the money no need for 300 400 doller radar they might have extra features but not worth unless u are are rich or u like blowing the money

vg2,S band,Xband,ka,k mode,digital, and 2 other featurs and its loud all option bnasicly and showes u how close u are to them

I have a Cobra radar detector froma a friend of mine and its been all good with me, it took me a lil bit to figure out what each alert meant... but mine has voice alert so it tells me whas goin down... its saved me from tickets a countless number of times...

and the radar dectectors that tells you the direction of the radar, i think thas pointless because u are goin to slow down whether its comin from the right or behind you soo...
