ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Intake/header/exhaust. But you said you dont want exhaust, so get an intake.

This motor responds really well to bolt ons. Intake, header, you can get an exhaust just make sure its 50 state compliable. Those usually are silent. You could get a hondata k pro that will give you a bit of horses with some tuning. But i dunno if they have updated the software to accept the new drive by wire system thats in the newer rsx's.

Exhaust: RS*R Exmag (Is supposed to be the quietest performance exhaust)

        With Intake/Headers/Exhaust and a Hondata K-Pro,
You can easily bring the car up to about 240hp and
        a more flat torque curve.

SuperStreet Magazine modified a Acura RSX like this.

I'll try to find u the link.

The 06 RSX already has a 2.5" exhaust stock.

I doubt most aftermarkets are going to improve the flow, as they are most commonly 60MM (2.25").

Your first mod should be punctuation.

After that, CAI, IPS cams, a Hondata Reflash, maybe an intake manifold gasket, and a good header, should fairly easily bring you above 200WHP, but would probably put you more in the neighborhood of 220-230.

The basics are I/H/E and cams followed by a nice tune

I think the 05-06 got the ITR cams but not sure

The exhaust is larger from previous generation (60.5mm to 70mm), it uses the muffler from the original ITR

                  Pretty much what I said...

And yes I believe one of the cams was the same as the ITR, and if I remember correctly, one was larger.

I will have to go back and look.

All 02-06 RSX models both base and TypeS have a mechanical throttle. The 06 Civic Si was the first K20 powered car that has a DBW throttle. anyways, a Type S is slow and underpowered. :P
